Dental Implants
If you’re missing one or more teeth, and have felt too self-conscious to smile, we can restore the function and aesthetics of your smile using dental implants. A dental implant is a titanium post that functions as a tooth root. It’s surgically placed in the bone while you are under local anaesthetic or sedation.
Following the procedure, the implant will begin to integrate into the bone as you heal. As the bone builds around the implant, the implant is secured into place. Next, we can affix a crown, bridge or denture to the implant.
Teeth Whitening
- In-Chair: In just one appointment, you can achieve a brighter smile with Polaoffice teeth whitening. Your gums and soft tissues will be protected, and then we will apply an intense concentration of gel on the teeth using custom-created trays. We will repeat the process three times, taking about 45 minutes in total. If you desire, we can provide a light that will activate extra whitening.
- Take-Home: If you’d like to whiten your teeth from the convenience of home, we can provide you a Poladay take-home kit. You’ll receive trays and gel with complete instructions on how to get started. We may take photographs to analyse the shade of your teeth. We’ll also provide you with a desensitising agent that you can use to minimise any teeth sensitivity afterwards.
Veneers
If you have discoloured, chipped or crooked teeth, a veneer can conceal these and other imperfections. As a thin shell that resembles an artificial fingernail, a veneer is applied to the front of a tooth to give you a movie star smile. Durable and aesthetically pleasing, veneers represent a more conservative option than a dental crown.
